The mighty little lion
2020 EcoBoost 245 2WD ST-Line 5-seater
Satisfaction: The space is really big. Maybe the space in the previous Focus was too small. I was amazed when I sat in the car. This space is perfect for home use. The driving vision is very good. I used to drive a Focus in the city and followed an SUV and felt that my vision was affected. Now I don’t have this feeling when driving the Edge. I sit high and see far, and the vision is very good. The gearbox performs well. The 8-speed can indeed keep the engine speed at a relatively low state when driving on the highway, and downshifts very decisively and quickly when accelerating sharply.
Dissatisfaction: The fuel consumption is relatively high. It takes about 12 liters of gas to drive in the city. The previous Focus only took more than 6 liters. It is equivalent to the fuel consumption of two cars to this one. The cost of using the car is indeed much higher, but considering the space and power, the fuel consumption is higher. The height of the car body is relatively high, so it is not very convenient for the elderly and children to get on and off the car. There are no pedals on the side of the car body. It would be better if the original factory could provide optional footrests. The interior is only available in black, and I personally prefer the brown interior.
Space: The reason why I chose Edge is because of its large space. Compared with sedans, Edge is much more spacious. Both the passenger space and storage space can meet the needs of our family. There are five people in my family, four adults and one child. The five of them can sit in the car without feeling cramped. The headroom and legroom are very good. The front row space is also good. The seats have a large adjustment range, and people of all sizes can adjust to a comfortable sitting position. The trunk is very large, and the second row of seats can be folded down, so the space flexibility is also good. In addition, there is storage space in the car. The glove box and armrest box have good space.
Power: Although the body is heavy, I feel that the power is still better than my previous Focus, especially the high-speed power performance. My previous Focus had very poor acceleration in the latter part of the highway, but Edge did not give me this feeling.
Fuel Consumption:
Appearance: The appearance is quite sporty, with some blackened kits on the body, and the white paint makes it look very delicate and beautiful, with tough lines and a muscular look. I also like the shape of the rear end, which looks very solid and full, and is quite attractive.
Interior: When I bought the car, what attracted me most about the interior was the central control screen. It was very large and looked very technological, but I regretted it after using it for a while. It is far less practical than physical buttons, and it is very inconvenient to operate blindly. Moreover, after looking at it for a long time, I feel that the large screen is very abrupt and looks uncoordinated.

Dissatisfaction:
Space: The space is quite spacious, the first and second rows are very spacious, but the third row is average, it is still a bit cramped for an adult to sit, but I don't have much demand for the third row. Finally, the trunk is quite large, which is very practical for long-distance travel.

Fuel Consumption: The fuel consumption is indeed quite high. My car consumes about 13 liters of fuel on average. It is not a gas guzzler but it is still quite fuel-consuming. It costs a lot of money to fill up the gas tank every month.

2021 PLUS EcoBoost 245 2WD Haorui 7-seater
Satisfaction: In terms of power, it is equipped with a 2.0T engine and an 8AT gearbox. The acceleration is particularly brisk, and the explosive power of the engine is also very good at medium and low speeds. The throttle is adjusted moderately. Driving in the city does not feel very aggressive, and when accelerating at high speed, it will not feel that it cannot keep up with the beat, and it is accompanied by a sense of pushing back. In general, the power performance is particularly good. In the modulated sports mode, the throttle response will be more positive, and the sense of pushing back will be stronger. The 8AT gearbox has a clear shifting logic. It will not jump back and forth when driving at low speed. The gears can be just connected, and the gear switching is very soft and smooth. The acceleration push back feeling is full, it is really too powerful, the starting posture is stable, there is no obvious head rise, the whole acceleration process is very sporty and young, and the power is sufficient. In terms of suspension, the adjustment is moderately soft and hard, and the support is very good. Although the body is huge, it is easy and flexible to drive, and there is no feeling of driving a boat. Passing through some speed bumps and small potholes, there is almost no vibration in the car, and at the same time, it will not feel soft like Japanese cars, and the road sense will not be lost. The steering feels very good and is relatively accurate, with good side support. In terms of driving assistance, press the L2 button on the left side of the steering wheel, which includes a set of functions such as ACC, active braking, lane keeping, and lane departure warning. After turning it on, it can automatically follow the track of the vehicle in front. If the lane deviates, the steering wheel will also adjust slightly and automatically restore to the normal driving track. Basically, you can free your hands and feet, which is very convenient for long-distance driving!
Dissatisfaction: 1. The fuel consumption is high. After actual measurement, the comprehensive fuel consumption in the city is about 11L, and the comprehensive fuel consumption when running on the highway is about 9L. The fuel consumption is high. Although the original G-Class had higher fuel consumption, it is different now. 2. The brakes are soft. You need to step on them one-third of the way before they will work. If you are new to this car, you need to pay attention. 3. The interior is very good in terms of visual effect, but there is a strong odor in the car. You need to open the windows for ventilation after getting in the car. 4. Because the tires are relatively large, the tire noise and wind noise in the car are more obvious when running on the highway. The faster the speed, the louder the noise.
Space: The space is relatively large and is usually used to store some engineering materials. It is very convenient to use!
Power: The power meets my requirements. I will not be careless when encountering things, and I will be able to run when I need to!

Dissatisfaction:
Space: The space of a large seven-seater SUV like this is naturally not a problem. After all, the reason why people buy this kind of car is because of its space. Basically, the space of the car can meet the travel needs of our family of five.

Dissatisfaction:
Space: What I like most about this car is the space design, which is also one of the reasons why I chose it. Compared with the front seat, I prefer the feeling of sitting in the back seat. When I am tired, I can have a good sleep. It is very comfortable.

Fuel Consumption: To be honest, the fuel consumption of this Edge is not very high. I knew it before I bought it. The current average fuel consumption is about 10.2L. Compared with other cars of the same level, this fuel consumption level is acceptable. However, this aspect is also related to daily driving habits.
