Dissatisfaction: When the roof is closed, the wind and tire noises are quite loud, which means the sound insulation is not very good. Although buying a sports car, you must pursue some sporty sounds, but sometimes my wife always asks me to close the roof because she thinks it is noisy. I am a bit henpecked, and I want to complain when she is unhappy. Another point is that it is not a big problem, that is, there are only two seats. I should have considered a two-door four-seater. Sometimes I feel that the lack of seats is a pain.
Space: There are only two seats, and the riding space is really spacious. Anyway, I usually drive it by myself, and occasionally my wife sits on the front passenger seat. I have never complained about the riding space. And the convertible has no space above the head, which is not depressing at all. As for the storage space, I think it is okay. After all, it is a sports car, and I don’t want to put a lot of things in it. However, the trunk space is quite large for me, and it is more than enough for some luggage. I have been in contact with some sports cars before, and I feel that the storage space of SL is pretty good. There is not much in the car, but there is nothing to put in it.
Power: The 400 is still much stronger than the previous 350 in terms of power. It accelerates very quickly and the throttle feedback is very accurate. You won't feel that the throttle doesn't respond when you press it. I've also driven on the highway and found that the power reserve is sufficient. I can feel that the throttle is almost at 120 when I press it a little.
Fuel Consumption: Basically, it's around 11 or 12 liters of fuel. The displacement is not small, so I think this fuel consumption is acceptable.
