2017 T4 Smart Edition
Satisfaction: Speaking of satisfaction, I have to talk about the appearance of this car first. When the Thor's Hammer headlights light up in the dark garage, the sense of relief that arises in my heart can only be experienced by myself. It is so handsome! The smooth lines of the car body, every time I drive through the glass curtain wall, the reflection of the light and elegant car body and such a handsome driver is simply perfect! Secondly, the interior is environmentally friendly and simple, the leather is comfortable, and there is almost no smell. When driving, I still pay more attention to the feeling.
Dissatisfaction: The most unsatisfactory thing should be the suspension. It is very hard, and there is a noticeable vibration when going over speed bumps. The second most unsatisfactory thing is the gear shifting. When encountering congestion, it feels not active enough to slow down and then speed up again. The jerking is also more obvious at low speeds, but it does not matter. I haven't found anything else I am dissatisfied with for the time being.
Space: I am 179cm tall. Apart from being a little cramped when getting on and off the bus, the ride is fine. As for the back seat, there are seldom people sitting in it, so it doesn't matter.
Power: It's a little sluggish at the start, some people say it's because the power is too big, it's a tuning problem, but it's not like I'm a violent driver, and the acceleration is perfect when the gears are increased, otherwise how can it be called a violent steel cannon.
Fuel Consumption: Nearly 3000km, 9.4 is not very fuel-efficient. Mainly because there are traffic lights everywhere in the city and there are traffic jams after get off work. I will wait and see after the first oil change.
Appearance: No need to say
Interior: The Nordic style is about simplicity, which I personally think is good.
The Jita Group Period
2018 T3 Zhiyi Edition
Satisfaction: The power is strong. The city safety system is very practical and has saved me from several minor accidents.
Dissatisfaction: The suspension is a bit stiff, which sometimes affects the ride comfort. The space inside the car is still a bit insufficient.
Space: The V40 doesn’t have a big advantage in terms of space, after all, the wheelbase is only that long, but it is enough for daily family use. Although the back row is not spacious, it is completely suitable for my wife and son to sit in, but it is a bit insufficient for taller people. The storage space in the car is also okay, which is quite thoughtful. The trunk is enough.
Power: When I bought it, I thought the 1.5T engine was a little underpowered, but after I bought it, I found that although the car body is heavy, the power is still quite strong, and it runs without any ambiguity. The acceleration is still quite fast, and the start is not slow. The overall performance is satisfactory.
Fuel Consumption: After all, the car has not been picked up for long, so it is difficult to comment too much now. For the time being, I have only driven it in the city. Basically, the fuel consumption is about 10-11 points. It should be better if I drive on the highway, and the fuel consumption should drop a lot in the later period.
Appearance: Appearance is a relatively subjective evaluation. Some say it looks good while others say it doesn’t. I think the appearance of the V40 is quite unique. The Thor’s Hammer headlights are classic and eye-catching, and the overall recognition is high.
Interior: The interior design is a typical Volvo style, simple and bright, without too many complicated designs, and it is very comfortable to look at. The key is that the materials used in the interior are relatively environmentally friendly, which should be recognized by many car owners.
