A few days ago, CarQuality.com was officially informed by Great Wall Motor that the Tank 500 Hi4-Z will open for pre-sale on December 3rd. Compared with the normal version of the model, the new car is equipped with a new plug-in hybrid off-road platform, adopts a decoupled four-wheel drive structure, and has a more outstanding power performance.
In terms of appearance, the Tank 500 Hi4-Z basically follows the design of the normal version of the model, with a large grille that is extremely recognizable, coupled with bold chrome decorations, creating a visual effect that is not angry and powerful.
The side is still a four-flat design that is very imposing, and the Tank 500 Hi4-Z is also equipped with a footrest to make it easier for passengers to get in and out of the car. Unlike the regular model, the new car is painted in an exclusive red and white gradient, and the rear tail badge has been changed to Hi4-Z for a more recognizable look.
The interior of the new car adopts the traditional “T” design, using a large number of leather and wood grain decorations, coupled with dual-patch interior colors, creating a very good sense of class. Configuration, the new car is still equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and large size center control screen, basically consistent with the normal version of the model.
Power system, the new car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid decoupled four-wheel drive system consisting of a 2.0T engine + front and rear dual motors. The maximum combined power of the system reaches 715kW, with 0-100km/h acceleration of 4 seconds, and the feed state can still achieve 0-100km/h acceleration of 5 seconds. In addition, this architecture is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 59.05kWh, with a pure electric range of over 200km under WLTC conditions.
