Recently, FAW-Volkswagen officially announced that its 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ is on the market. The new car offers four configurations to choose from. As an annual facelift model, the new car's appearance and interior have not changed much, but it has been upgraded in terms of power/car machine/intelligent driving.
As an annual facelift model, the new car's exterior has added a morning mist green color and a dark knight black light package. The styling basically continues the design of the 2024 model, using semi-hidden door handles; and the size of the interior central control screen has been upgraded from 12 inches to 12.9 inches, and has been upgraded to the latest ID.S 5.0 car machine system
In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car still uses a closed grille design, which is relatively simple in style. The headlight group is smoked and connected by a through-type daytime running light, which effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the front face; the front hatch is designed with raised ribs, which has a strong sense of muscle.
The lower surround adopts a three-stage design. The fenders on both sides are designed with vertically arranged guide grooves to improve aerodynamic performance. The bottom is equipped with a relatively large trapezoidal air intake, and the interior is decorated with a black honeycomb structure, which embellishes the layering of the front of the car and is also sporty.
In terms of side styling, the roof has a clear arc, equipped with a luggage rack and a shark fin. The two-color body also creates a floating roof, which looks more fashionable; the waistline adopts a through-type design, extending from the front fender to the rear of the car, making the visual effect look slender and atmospheric, while enhancing the layering of the side of the car body; the door handles adopt an inward concave design, which can reduce wind resistance; the wheel eyebrows and side skirts are designed with raised black trim, which brings a certain sense of power; the wheel hub adopts a smoked five-spoke low wind resistance shape, which is quite atmospheric.
In terms of the rear styling, the roof is equipped with a small spoiler and high-mounted brake lights. The smoked taillight group adopts a through-type design, which effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the rear of the car; the tailgate is designed with raised ribs, and the lower surround part is concave. The license plate frame embellishes the layered sense of the rear of the car; the lower surround part is equipped with a thick black trim, which further enhances the sense of power.
In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4592/1852/1629mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2765mm. It is positioned as a compact SUV.
In terms of interior, the car system has been upgraded, equipped with a 12.9-inch central control screen, equipped with Volkswagen's latest car system ID.S 5.0, and the car networking function has been upgraded. It has a new interactive interface, ID.Mate smart butler, navigation voice and App control functions. Navigation has been upgraded to support lane-level navigation, more accurate routes, and new navigation recommendations for new energy vehicles. Voice interaction has also been upgraded, with smoother wake-up and recognition, and more intelligent continuous dialogue.
In terms of assisted driving, the new car has added interactive lane change assistance, RPA intelligent remote parking assistance, and TPA memory parking assistance. The basic configuration is standard with tire pressure display, automatic parking, uphill assistance, front and rear parking radar, reversing image, full-speed adaptive cruise, keyless entry, one-button start, automatic LED headlights, automatic wipers, electric adjustment of front seats, proportional folding of rear seats, automatic air conditioning, and rear air outlets.
In terms of power, the Pure Enjoyment Edition is still equipped with a maximum power of 125kW electric motor, peak torque of 310N·m, battery pack capacity of 55.7kWh, and CLTC working range of 442km. The long-range version has been upgraded to an electric motor with a maximum power of 170kW, the peak torque remains unchanged at 310N·m, the battery pack capacity is 80.4kWh, and the CLTC range is 601km; the PRIME version still has front and rear dual motors, with a combined maximum power of 230kW, a peak torque of 460N·m, a battery pack capacity of 80.4kWh, and a CLTC range of 560km.
