FAW Hongqi announced that its Tiangong 08 model will be launched on January 7. The Hongqi brand officially debuted its new masterpiece, Tiangong 08. As a member of the Tiangong series, this medium-to-large luxury pure electric SUV kicked off the prelude to pre-order during the Guangzhou Auto Show, attracting widespread attention from both inside and outside the industry. Tiangong 08 has become a new favorite in the eyes of consumers with its high-end configuration, exquisite craftsmanship and forward-looking technology.
IT Home learned that this model is positioned as an electric medium-to-large SUV. It continues the current Hongqi new energy family design style. The front face adopts a split headlight design, which is connected to the upper light group with a black trim strip; the side door handle adopts a hidden design, and is equipped with a red side flag logo on the front fender, and a side view camera is integrated; the rear of the car adopts the Hongqi family-style through-type taillights, and the light groups on both sides are also L-shaped, echoing the front face light group.
From the appearance, Tiangong 08 inherits and carries forward the profound cultural heritage of the Hongqi brand. Its design is inspired by ancient Chinese architectural art and traditional aesthetics, perfectly combining classics and fashion, presenting a calm yet dynamic posture. The body proportions are coordinated and the lines are smooth, just like a natural and vivid stroke in an ink painting, successfully creating a mobile space with oriental aesthetics.
This model offers single-color and two-color body color options, and the tire sizes include 255/55 R19, 255/45 R21 and 275/40 R21. In addition, users can choose configurations such as roof laser radar, air suspension and rear privacy glass.

In terms of power, Tiangong 08 provides two versions: single-motor two-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive: the maximum power of the single-motor two-wheel drive version is 253 kilowatts. The maximum power of the front motor of the dual-motor four-wheel drive version is 202 kW, and the maximum power of the rear motor is 253 kW.
In terms of safety performance, the passive and active safety configurations of Tiangong 08 are both at the advanced level in the industry. The 9H4M cage-type body structure provides a solid protective shell for the vehicle, while the intelligent four-wheel steering technology ensures stability and reliability under various road conditions. In terms of battery configuration, Tiangong 08 provides ternary lithium battery and lithium iron phosphate battery versions: the battery capacity of the ternary lithium battery version is 111 kWh, of which the single-motor two-wheel drive version has a range of 730 kilometers, and the dual-motor four-wheel drive version has a range of 680 kilometers.
