Satisfaction: Maybe it's because it's the top configuration. My car doesn't have the problems that other car owners mentioned. It has all the configurations it should have, including a large-screen navigation entertainment multimedia, multi-function keys on the steering wheel, electric headlights, electric defogger for the rear windows, etc. The interior decoration is dark brown, which looks much more upscale than the black interior of the low-end version. There is even an armrest storage table in the third row. The interior space is indeed quite compact, and big people must be uncomfortable. The third row can basically only be used by children. There is no comfort at all!
Dissatisfaction: Overall, Xiaoya is really good, but it has some common problems. It is difficult to shift gears when I first used this car, the gear position is not clear, and there is no suction feeling. It will be much better after you use it more and get used to it. The large central control navigation screen has only been used for about three years. It may have poor contact and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t work. Finally, it simply didn’t light up. Also, the spare tire rack is made of poor material and broke directly when driving on bad roads. I was too lazy to repair it, so I never brought a spare tire with me. I’ll just use it like this!
Space: Its original design intention was to be a family multi-purpose vehicle. It is unrealistic to expect a large space, but it is enough for five adults and their luggage. When we go out to travel, we often have seven adults and children sitting in the car, and we still have to squeeze in. Although the car is small, it is registered for seven people, so there is no violation and we don't have to worry about being checked by the traffic police!
Power: At this point, I felt fooled by the salesman, saying that it was the original power of Daihatsu. I bought it based on this most important selling point. But later I heard from other car friends that after 2013, there was no original Daihatsu engine. It was assembled with imported parts. I looked carefully on the engine, there was no Toyota or Daihatsu logo, and there was not even a manufacturer's nameplate. But the engine is really awesome. No matter it is cold winter or hot summer, or how long it has been stored, it is always burning. After a few years, the tail pipe of the cold car still drips and sprays white smoke. My friend's joint venture car can't compare! Going out to play, on the highway, it is indeed not as fast as my friends' Volkswagen and Nissan. The limit is about 135. I feel powerless if I go faster. But when I get to the mountain road, they will run with me. Technology is one aspect, and there is also a 20Cm ground clearance. The front-engine rear-wheel drive, as long as it is not a muddy road, it will go forward unstoppable, just like the Wuling magic car, ordinary mountain roads, gravel roads, and mechanized farming roads are no problem at all. Friends' cars, including Changan CS35, have to be driven carefully and slowly! The power of 1.5 is basically enough, and it is the same as the feedback from car enthusiasts. It is sluggish at the start, but there is no problem with more gas. After accelerating, it is no different from other cars and there is a response when you step on the gas. Anyway, it will not lag behind the group when traveling and can basically keep up. On a steep slope or with the car full of passengers, it can move forward with more gas. It is no worse than a van. This is the advantage!
Fuel Consumption: In the main city, I calculated that it saves more fuel than a van, basically around 65 cents per kilometer, and around 50 cents per kilometer on the highway. Compared with my friends' cars, it's not outstanding, but it's also pretty satisfactory. It's good that it's not as fuel-guzzling as their old Haval 6!
Appearance: The appearance is indeed good-looking, with a military green body, an aluminum alloy luggage rack on the roof, and the trims, logos, and stickers that I made myself, it really looks a bit tough! I personally think it is at least better looking than my friend's CS35.
Interior: Maybe it’s because it’s the top configuration, the interior is much better than the low configuration. The high-quality leather seats and brown interior are both more pleasing to the eye.
